Hamont Tree Care is a family run company started in the spring of 2020* with life and business partners Yogi and Natasha. Yogi began his arboriculture career in 2014 in northern Ontario, where he started apprenticing as an Arborist and Utility Arborist. After cutting his teeth up north, Yogi eventually moved south, focusing the scope of his work mainly to residential climbing.

Once in southern Ontario, Yogi led a team for years at a large company in Oakville. He had the opportunity to work around spectacular, high profile homes and landscapes. With little room for error on these sites, he honed his skills over the years and now, is able to offer his expert services to communities all over Hamilton and the surrounding areas.

Along with owning and operating Hamont Tree Care, Yogi works with the Humber College Arborist Apprentice Program, helping to train the next wave of Ontario arborists. Continued training and education is such an important part of staying safe and efficient in such a dangerous trade. We feel very fortunate that Yogi can bring that culture to our company.

Hamont Tree Care's goal is to focus on educating clients about their trees and tailoring the unique solutions and customer prices that big companies just can’t provide.
